EXCEPTIONAL TRAINING: Although my love of cooking, and creating delicious meals, really began in my youth with my grandmother. At 24, I was mentored by Russian aristocrat, Marina Polvay, caterer to the stars, and internationally acclaimed cookbook author. Under her watchful eye, I orchestrated high society soirees and lavish weddings. I also assisted in the development and testing of menu items for the famed
Forge Restaurant on Miami Beach.
RECIPE FOR SUCCESS: In 1985, I opened Wee-Bag-It Delivery Emporiums. The first breakfast and lunch delivery operation in Boca Raton, Florida. Attracting attention, the unique menu combined the needs of both business professionals and support personnel. Newspaper and magazine articles ignited sales of franchised stores all over the US!

WIDESPREAD ACCLAIM: In 1990, Catering by George! was opened to address catering demands in the south Florida area. By 2005, the franchise company was sold, and by George's expanding catering division, my family and I, relocated to Denver, CO. Our very first charity event of 300 guests set the stage for rapid growth, with clients like Make a Wish Foundation, Nestle Corporation, Mayor Michael Hancock, Barack Obama's Democratic National Committee, and NFL BRONCOS alum, to name a few.ADVERSITY: In 2009, stricken with Bacterial Meningitis, I spent weeks in a coma, months in recovery, suffered deafness and amputation, and was forced to sacrifice my catering business - the only thing I'd ever loved or known. It was a crushing blow until the idea of teaching others, how to do what I could no longer do, came to light. My best selling, award-winning book, CATERSAVVY was written from a hospital bed and launched in 2013.RECOVERY: This book was the beginning of my recovery. It was a tool to motivate me and bring about a desire to cater once again! In 2012, my son and I decided to work together in Upper Crust Catering. I handled the bookings and social media content and he did the long hours and "heavy lifting". We succeeded using many of the tools and tips from CATERSAVVY. With trendy menu items, and a CAUSE CATERING concept, we were soon a philanthropist's best friend and a charity's dream come true and my son's future looked bright!

COVID 19: WHEN DISASTER STRUCK

COVID19: The world-wide pandemic did to our business what it did to all food service. Our healthy 2020 calendar was summarily canceled -one phone call at a time. No events of any kind or size would be scheduled for the foreseeable future.
All business pivoted to a virtual format and THAT is when I decided to focus - not just
on the second act of adversity for me and my business - but on a way to help others get through an unprecedented life-changing impact. You might say "I had been there, done that!" The sudden loss of business, fear of the unknown, lack of income, growth stifled, valued employees lost.....
IT WAS TIME to share my own professional pivot, to teach others a methodical recovery and success building method - face to face but online! A virtual Mastermind and Mentoring plan with one-on-one coaching, modules of instruction and planning, and a private online peer group for sharing!
